Smart home app concept
Nettalliansen is an alliance made up of 41 Norwegian electricity and broadband suppliers. Together they have joined forces to strengthen their offerings to the Norwegian market. The Hitch project set out to expand their services and give the end users more opportunities and control of their electricity usage as well as connecting their homes to the increasing IoT market. The app concept has three parts; My Home, Electricity Personal Trainer and Electricity Analytics.

My Home
This is the control center of your home. The dashboard can control the alarm system, camera, lock the door as well as controlling light and heating. In addition to this the user has an overview over all connected devices and how much power they are consuming.
Electricity Personal Trainer
The personal trainer will analyze your usage and compare it to other similar households usage. In addition you can set up a goal for how much power you wish to save and the PT will give you personalized tips and help reaching your goals. Who ever thought it would be fun saving power?
Electricity Analytics
The analytics gives the user the possibility to drill down through the power consumption and has a range of filtering options. It will also predict your next electricity bill utilizing historic data as well as electrity prices.
